This Year’s PEI Marathon is in support of CMHA-PEI

July 20, 2017

CMHA-PEI is thrilled to be the charity of choice for this year’s Prince Edward Island Marathon; made possible by Murchison Foundation of Prince Edward Island. One of the key objectives set by the PEI Marathon in 2017 was to promote and support existing mental health programs. Consequently, this new partnership is a perfect opportunity to work together to achieve this important goal for both organizations. The links between physical health and mental health can’t be denied.  CMHA-PEI hopes to see a lot of Islanders participate in this event.  For more information, or to register and fundraise, please visit the PEI Marathon website.

The Murchison Foundation of Prince Edward Island is a not-for-profit public foundation that was established in August, 1984. The foundation exists to raise funds for charitable purposes that promote and raise awareness of mental health, and the delivery of mental health programs and services for Islanders. The majority of the foundation’s profits are directed to the Canadian Mental Health Association – PEI Division.
