Bell Aliant supports CMHA’s Living Life to the Full program in PEI

Charlottetown, PEI – Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) is bringing its national flagship program, Living Life to the Full, to PEI for the first time with the support of a $4,000 donation from Bell Aliant. Two facilitators from CMHA PEI will be trained to administer the program, which teaches individuals how to cope with stress, anxiety and depression.

Living Life to the Full is an evidence-based, eight-week course that uses cognitive behavioural therapy principles to help people identify and improve their feelings, moods, and behaviours. The course sessions are 1.5 hours each, held weekly with activities designed to engage participants at their comfort level and inspire them to enhance their responses to life stressors. Sessions include Living Life to the Full booklets and worksheets, as well as moderated discussions in which participants share information, ideas, and provide mutual support.
