CMHA holding grand opening of their new office in Montague

Canadian Mental Health Association holding grand opening of their new office in Montague 

Montague—The Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) is having a grand opening of their new office in Montague on 572 Main Street on Wednesday, September 18 from 11:30 am-2:00 pm with a FREE BBQ open to the general public until 1:00 pm. 

The Montague location will be CMHA’s fourth location on PEI. They also have offices in Charlottetown, Summerside and Alberton. CMHA provides programs and services Island-wide, delivers education and training, and engages in research, advocacy and the development of social policy. Recovery and after-care community-based programs and services are key strengths of the organization. 

CMHA/PEI President, Matt Younker, says the grand opening is for anyone to attend including other community organizations and healthcare professionals. “The grand opening will give people an opportunity to drop in and find out more information about CMHA and the programs and services we have to offer and also to meet the staff that are currently working in the new office. We are really excited to finally have this office open and to continue offering community-based supports and services to the people of Kings County.”
