“This program is exactly what is needed for survivors of suicide loss. In the beginning, we have the support and guidance of trained professionals. Then afterwards, through monthly group meetings, we have seasoned survivors following up with us. We can also access help from the LASL group leaders and from CMHA as needed.”

Life After Suicide Loss (LASL) Group is an 8-week, closed suicide bereavement group available to adults who have lost a loved one to suicide. The group is co-facilitated by CMHA PEI staff and includes an optional monthly support group called LASL Side-by-Side, which offers ongoing peer support. This eight-week program is offered twice a year (spring and fall) and registration is required. Find more details on our brochure. Kings County will run for 8 weeks from 6-8pm at 572 Main Street, Montague, starting Monday, March 31st.  

Queens County will run for 8 weeks from 6-8pm at 203 Fitzroy Street, Charlottetown, starting Tuesday, May 6th.
