- Hard copies of either kit can be made available for pick-up at any of our CMHA PEI regional locations upon request. To request more information, contact Julia Ramsay, the Director of Community Education and Peer Support at [email protected]
Life After Suicide Loss (LASL) Group is an 8-week, closed suicide bereavement group available to adults who have lost a loved one to suicide. The group is co-facilitated by CMHA PEI staff and includes an optional monthly support group called LASL Side-by-Side, which offers ongoing peer support. This eight-week program is offered twice a year (spring and fall) and registration is required. Find more details on our brochure. Our next LASL Workshop will be in the Spring of 2025. For inquiries, please call us at (902) 566-3034 or email [email protected]

“This program is exactly what is needed for survivors of suicide loss. In the beginning, we have the support and guidance of trained professionals. Then afterwards, through monthly group meetings, we have seasoned survivors following up with us. We can also access help from the LASL group leaders and from CMHA as needed.”
- A toolkit for people who have lost someone to suicide was designed by the Mental Health Commission of Canada.
